Terms of service

These terms set out what each side owes the other once you buy a PipNow license. In short: the license itself is independent of where you bought it — the same license, the same effect, whether you order from this site or a third-party channel.

1. The license

PipNow Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. How many devices it covers depends on the tier you bought (1, 2, or 5 Macs); the rules below apply to every tier.

• Device binding: a license is tied to a device. Deactivate it on the old Mac before moving, otherwise the new one will not activate.
• No transfer: license keys cannot be resold or given away. If a key is published or shared between several people, we cannot guarantee support for it.
• The free version is covered by these terms too — it just costs nothing, with the feature limits listed on the pricing page.

2. Refunds

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee. Request a full refund within 14 days of payment, provided the license has not been activated on two or more devices.

• Window: 14 calendar days from the date of payment, as shown on the order.
• After a refund: the license key stops working immediately and cannot be reactivated; Pro features on the original machine are switched off too. Versions you already downloaded keep working.
• How to request: use the contact page and include the email you purchased with plus the full license key. We reply within 3 business days; approved refunds go back through the original payment channel, so timing there is up to them.

3. Updates

A one-time purchase includes free updates for life: while PipNow is maintained, every update is included at no extra cost. If maintenance ever ends, we will announce it at least 30 days ahead on the site and by email — and your purchased version keeps working either way.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use PipNow for anything unlawful, and do not reverse engineer the app for commercial purposes. You are responsible for any loss arising from a breach of these terms.

5. Disclaimer

The software is provided as is. We work hard to keep it stable, but we do not promise it is defect-free — if you hit a bug, please tell us. macOS updates can affect compatibility; we will chase those fixes, but that is not grounds for a refund.

6. Changes

If these terms ever change, we will update this page and its date — the latest version applies. Anything affecting licenses already bought is announced in advance.
