This policy explains how the PipNow website and macOS app handle your information. In one sentence: all window mirroring and processing happen on your Mac — we run no servers that store your data.
The PipNow app collects, stores and uploads no personal data: there is no account system, no analytics, tracking or telemetry, and no ads or third-party SDKs. Your window contents, usage habits and device information never leave your computer.
Window mirroring and processing happen entirely on your Mac, with no server in between. Uninstalling PipNow removes the app and its local data completely — nothing is left behind.
If you activate a paid license in the final release, verification sends only the license key and a device identifier to our license server, to prevent license abuse. Other than that, the app makes no network requests at all. The beta contains no license verification.
PipNow does not collect information from children — in fact, we collect no information from anyone.
If our data handling ever changes (for example, when adding a feature that needs explaining), we will update this page and its date. The latest version on this page always applies.
